A Step Forward: A Worship’n’Workout Devotional, is a 30 day challenge to kick start your physical and spiritual devotion to the Lord. Pursuing a consistent relationship with the Lord and a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be an either/or situation; it can be combined. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, I found exercise to be a time of worship. I was able to meet with the Lord and strengthen the body He gifted me with, for His purpose. I didn’t have the strength, or migraine endurance, but He did. And He called me to meet with Him through my exercise. In these 30 days, I will walk you through the same concept. Let me do the hard part for you. Each day, you’ll get a scripture-led devotional and a written workout or movement. The week is programmed with 3 cardio-specific workouts, 3 strength training workouts, and one recovery day. Each strength training workout has a link to an exercise library, where you’ll be able to see each exercise and read each exercise cue. What are you waiting for? Take your step forward, for your children, your grandchildren, your friends, your spouse, yourself, and for your relationship with Our Heavenly Father.
