Dumbbell Bench Press

Standing:

Begin in a standing position.

Lift your dumbbells, so they are horizontal and in line with your chest.

Keep your palms facing the ground. Squeeze your chest and press your dumbbells away from your body.

Be sure to stabilize your body with your core. Exhale as you press out, inhale as the weight returns to the body.

Laying Down:

You are welcome to lay down when completing this exercise. Lay on a bench, couch, or similar object.

Keep your back flat and pressed into the bench. Keep your dumbbells in line with your eyes, holding them above your head.

Lower them to your breast line and exhale as you press them back into starting position.
